Comedy Asylum

Comedy Asylum

Is life taking you too seriously? Join us every Friday afternoon for a fun and relaxing session where we make up stories, tell jokes and laugh a lot.

Join BrightSparks Arts – in collaboration with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and U.matter – for a fun and relaxing session where we make up stories, tell jokes and laugh a lot. Led by performer Rob Gee, we share things that make us chuckle, support each other in creating material and celebrate some of our favourite comedians. All levels of experience welcome.

For the last thirteen years, the Comedy Asylum has been a unique platform for people involved with Leicester mental health to showcase their comedic abilities. These sessions are now open to everyone because mental health affects all of us.

We’re part of BrightSparks Arts in Mental Health and, as always, we are indebted to the good people of the National Lottery, the University of Leicester and Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust for their ongoing support.
